Website Accessibility

We strive to make our website accessible to everyone.

Here's what accessibility means

We have implemented the recommendations of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) as published by the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).

We have used WCAG guidelines for compliance as suggested by the U.S. Department of Justice for website accessibility. We chose to use WCAG for compliance because they are determined by the W3C, the consortium that determines development standards for the Internet, worldwide.

There is no definitive test nor certification of conformance to Level AA of the WCAG, but we have used a variety of methods for assessing accessibility. We strive to make every page accessible to users but cannot guarantee that every page is Level AA compliant. If you find a part of the site that you feel does not conform to Level AA of the WCAG, or if you are using assistive technology and are having difficulty, please contact us.

Tell us about a barrier

If any page, document or feature on this site keeps you from getting what you need, we want to hear about it — and we’ll help you complete whatever you were trying to do in the meantime. It helps if you can tell us:

  • The web address of the page you were on.
  • What you were trying to do, and what stopped you.
  • The browser, device and any assistive technology you were using.

Call us at 816-246-0002, or stop by either branch. Every member service rep can take an accessibility report and can walk you through any transaction over the phone or in person.

Third-party sites and services

Some of the things you can do from this site — online and mobile banking, our loan application, and our membership application — are provided by other companies and live on their websites. We are not able to control the accessibility of those sites, but we do raise the issues you report with the vendors who run them, and we will always help you complete the same task by phone or at a branch.

Other ways to get help

Account and disclosure documents listed on our disclosures page are available in alternate formats or in print on request. Language assistance is described in our Language Assistance Plan, also on that page.
