At Missouri Central Credit Union, we believe it's important to give back to our community. Our motto represents our belief, Together We Thrive!

As a not-for-profit financial cooperative, community service is in our DNA—starting with service to our members. Our excellent loan rates and free checking accounts are just a small example of how we serve our community. These, along with our Member Bonus Dividend program which pays back our members for their loyalty, result from our unique status as a not for profit financial organization, run by a volunteer Board of Directors, elected by members. When you join Missouri Central Credit Union, you are more than just an account number, you are a member/owner.

Hillcrest Foundation Donation Check from Missouri Central

Hillcrest Transitional Housing — Donations to Hillcrest help with their operating expenses. Hillcrest helps families move from homelessness to self-sufficiency.  Missouri Central provides our services to residents to allow them to make a new start financially.  Over the years, staff has volunteered hundreds of hours at the Hillcrest Thrift Store. Hope House Donation Check from Missouri Central Credit Union

 

Hope House – Missouri Central Credit Union made a contribution to Hope House to help fund the valuable work they do providing emergency services to families in need. Hope House is dedicated to ensuring women and children affected by domestic violence can find refuge.

 

Lee’s Summit Social Services – Volunteering at Lee’s Summit Social Services is always a rewarding and memorable day for Missouri Central’s staff.   Our financial support helps LSSS assist low-income, elderly and disabled residents in our community with emergency needs.

One Good Meal Donation Check from Missouri Central Credit Union
 

One Good Meal — A completely volunteer based community organization in Lee’s Summit, One Good Meal has been delivering meals to local shut-ins and the elderly for over 20 years. Toys for Tots Donation Box at Missouri Central Credit Union

 

 

 

 

Toys for Tots Donation Box — Missouri Central Credit Union works with this great organization to provide toys for needy children during the holidays.  The overwhelming response last year made Christmas for dozens of children very merry.

 


Underwood Elementary —  For over 20 years, Missouri Central Credit Union partnered with this local school in north Lee’s Summit . Third graders participate in the Dollar$ and Cent$ program in the classroom each month where they learn to make good money choices.

  • The Buck-A-Book program rewards students in all grades for making the choice to read.
  • Moolah Matching rewards the school when parents, grandparents, and friends sign up for qualified credit union services. 
  • The credit union showcases student art throughout the year.   We are proud to display the art from young artists who are thrilled to be recognized for the talent.  
  • Employees give back in their day-to-day work at the credit union and in our community.  Our employees are given up to 8 paid hours each year to give back at a non-profit in our community.
