How does MCCU collect my personal information?

  • Open an account or apply for a loan
  • Make deposit or withdrawls or any other transactions

Why can’t I limit all sharing?

Federal law gives you the right to limit only

  • sharing for affiliates’ everyday business purposes - information about your creditworthiness
  • affiliates from using your information to market to you
  • sharing for nonaffiliates to market to you

State laws and individual companies may give you additional rights to limit sharing.

Affiliates

Companies related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies.

  • None

Nonaffiliates

Companies not related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies.

  • Companies who preform marketing, data processing, statement mailing, share draft printing, collections, IRA, credit card, ATM and Debit card services, and various insurance services on our behalf.

Joint marketing

A formal agreement between nonaffiliated financial companies that together market financial products or services to you.

Other important information

We may collect information regarding your mobile device such as device settings, unique device identifiers, information about your location, and analytical information that may assist with diagnostics and performance. For your convenience, you may be asked to grant permission for access to your mobile device's geolocation data.
